ABSTRACT
Sixteen-year old high schooler Rick Stevens is desperate to become the object of classmate Nina Pennington's affections, even though he's a wallflower and she's the most popular girl at their school. Obstacles including Nina's demented ex-boyfriend, his own depressed mother, and a cast of wicked characters stand in young Rick's way as he goes up against long odds to work for Nina's love.
