Seven Angry Men (27-Mar-1955)

Director: Charles Marquis Warren Writer: Daniel B. Ullman Music Composed and Conducted by: Carl Brandt Producer: Vincent M. Fennelly Keywords: Drama, Biography Abolitionist John Brown and his six sons campaign against slavery; Brown later leads a raid on the arsenal at Harper's Ferry, resulting in his capture and execution. Budgetary considerations limited what could be done with this film (Brown actually had 20 children). Massey reprises the role of Brown that he had in Santa Fe Trail (1940), then as a supporting character. The depiction in Seven Angry Men is considerably more true to Brown's character.
