The movie is quite subtle, more like a sketch than a painting or even a drawing. The acting is good and the story line is simple, so if one is not in the mood for trying to figure out what is happening in a movie, it's perfect. The use of Chinese without sub-titles is unique and although one cannot understand the words spoken if one does not speak Chinese, the meaning is usually clear because the conversations are mostly half in Chinese and half in English. Victor Wong's acting shines since his character seems more three dimensional than the others. The ending was not satisfactory since it leaves the viewer without a clear understanding about what is going to occur.
