ABSTRACT
Norwegian filmmaker Tommy Wirkola directs and co-writes this darkly whimsical continuation of the classic Hansel and Gretel folk tale, which follows its stars fifteen years after their fateful abduction by a gingerbread-house-residing old witch. Depicting the two as renowned bounty hunters with over six hundred witch slayings to their credit, the film follows the pair as they endeavor to tackle their greatest challenge yet in the Bavarian town of Augsburg.
