ABSTRACT
Students filming a found-footage horror flick in a forest near the University of Pittsburgh hear news of a rising of the undead, complete with reports of widespread rioting and mass murder. Taking place in the same universe as the original Dawn of the Dead trilogy, Diary of the Dead follows director George Romero's now-infamous zombie apocalypse through the eyes of these frightened young filmmakers, their reactions ranging from panic to concern and appeals to a higher power as chaos reigns.
