Biographical drama fictionalizes famed record producer Phil Spector's relationship with his defense attorney whilst on trial for murder.

Phil Spector, a record producer famous for his "Wall of Sound" work with The Beatles and a veritable Who's Who of music legends, hires Bruce Cutler to defend him after he is accused of murdering Lana Clarkson, ultimately resulting in Linda Kenney Baden coming on board as a defense attorney. As public opinion begins to mount against the music mogul and looks to turn the trial into an all-out media circus, Cutler and Baden must find some way to plant a seed of doubt in an unsympathetic jury's mind if they are to stand a change at offering their client a shot at freedom.
