ABSTRACT
Enid and Becky are two friends and recent high-school graduates, each trying to find their way in the world as misfits looking on towards an uncertain future in a society that just doesn't seem to "get" people like them. Ghost World follows the hipster-y Enid and somewhat more conventionally attractive Becky as they respond to a newspaper ad looking for a date placed by lonely vinyl record collector Seymour, ultimately finding a kindred spirit in an unexpected place as they continue moving through their world with a cynical, jaded eye to goings-on around them.
