Bursting with energy, color, and star power, Rio 2 continues the big-screen tale of South American macaw Blu and family first explored in 2011's Rio, following our gang as they leave their Rio de Janeiro haunts for a journey into the Amazon rainforest. Adventure and danger await our protagonists in spades in the course of their owners' expedition, with a cast of threats ranging from Blu's old arch-rival Nigel seeking revenge to the presence of illegal loggers promising a wild and treacherous ride for all involved.
