HONOR

Awarded by the American Mathematical Society every three years for a "notable paper on algebra or number theory published within the previous six years." Started with a bequest by Frank Nelson Cole in 1928 and augmented by his son Charles A. Cole, and other individuals. The prize is currently $5,000.
