MAGAZINE

Established 1933 by David Lawrence as United States News. Merged 1948 with another Lawrence publication, World Report. Purchased by USN&WR employees in 1962, and sold to Mort Zuckerman in 1984. Published weekly until 2008, biweekly from mid-2008, and monthly beginning November 2008, before ceasing publication on paper in December 2010. Continues as an on-line publication "with selected, single-topic print issues" as warranted.
