NEWSPAPER
Originally published by the US Army for its soldiers during the last 16 months of World War I, the government resumed publication of Stars and Stripes in 1942 and has continued ever since. The paper is sold exclusively at American military bases. Circulation of approximately 150,000, although for some reason the Army refuses to give exact figures for the Middle East edition.
