Organization working "to recruit, train, place and encourage journalists who are Christians in the mainstream newsrooms of America." Born out of discussions in Winter 1998 between Joel Belz (Chief Operating Officer of God's World Publications, publishers of World magazine), Marvin Olasky (World editor), Nick Eicher (World managing editor) and Bob Case (God's World Publications Board member), the World Journalism Institute held its first classes in Summer 1999.
