"Northwestern Memorial Hospital was established by the consolidation of Passavant Memorial and Chicago Wesley Memorial Hospitals, two of Chicago's oldest and most distinguished medical institutions. As the primary teaching facilities for Northwestern University Medical School, the two hospitals shared a neighboring location for 30 years."
