"The Iowa Business Council is composed of the CEOs of 21 companies and the three state university presidents. As a group, they employ over 180,000 people throughout Iowa. Formed in 1986, the Iowa Business Council's mission is to support Iowa's economic vitality. It accomplishes this through research, developing policy statements and loaning the business expertise of its members to assist programs that are important to Iowa."
