Sponsored legislation to repeal the US military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, and supported 2008 GM/Chrysler bailout, 2008 Wall Street bailout, 2009 economic stimulus, 2010 health care reform. Defeated for re-election by Fitzpatrick in 2010.
