Juliet Mills

Juliet MillsBorn: 21-Nov-1941
Birthplace: London, England

Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Actor

Nationality: England
Executive summary: The Rare Breed

Younger viewers know Juliet Mills as the mischievous witch Tabitha Lenox on the supernatural soap opera Passions, while older viewers remember her in a very short skirt as Phoebe Figalilly, the nanny on the insipid 1970s sitcom Nanny and the Professor, opposite Richard Long.

She is the daughter of actor John Mills and author Mary Hayley Bell, and sister of Disney girl Hayley Mills. Her godparents were Noel Coward and Vivien Leigh. Mills appeared in several of her father's films as a child, and made her film debut sans Daddy when she was 20, in No My Darling Daughter.

She went skinny-dipping with Jack Lemmon in Avanti, and played Maureen O'Hara's daughter in The Rare Breed. On Broadway, she starred with Terence Stamp in the original production of Alfie, which bombed, closing after just three weeks.

Like her character on Passions, Mills says she believes in magic, psychics, guardian angels, the spirit of life, and reincarnation. She has appeared on James Van Praagh's Beyond, and says she has received posthumous communications from actors Josh Ryan Evans and Laurence Olivier.
