Much later, Kordell's wife Porsha Williams appeared on Power 105 FM's Breakfast Club, December 2012, and was asked by the show's host, Charlemagne Tha God, if Stewart were gay: "You know there were a lot of gay rumors about Kordell at one point. He got caught in the park in Pittsburgh and the police didn't want to turn him in because he was a star quarterback." Williams, estranged at the time, replied that she had not heard said rumors, and that her husband was not gay. "There's lies out there on the Internet about all kinds of celebrities."
