[1] Milligan's body was discovered by his secretary Vera Taggart -- naked, with suspenders and women's stockings, electric cord as noose and plastic trash bag over the head, piece of orange in his mouth. Police ruled out murder and called the death an autoerotic asphyxiation accident. The orange may have been present to counter amyl nitrate fumes.
