Agreement between Francis I and Pope Leo X, negotiated in Bologna and signed in Rome, 18 August 1516. Under the Concordat, annates -- the first year's revenue from any Church office -- would still be sent to Rome, but the monarchy would appoint the benefices, albeit under the potential veto of the Holy See.
