Late night news dialogue on ABC. Created by Roone Arledge as a continuation of news specials resultant from the Iran hostage crisis of 1979, hosted by magnificently-coiffed Ted Koppel until his retirement in 2005. The program continues with a rotating roster of less-than-Koppel hosts.
