A son attempts to grow closer to his dying father by purposely reliving lore attributed to his life.

Will Bloom, a young man attempting to learn as much as he can about dying father Ed before he passes on, endeavors to live out myths attributed to him as a means of gaining knowledge about his past. Recreating Ed's larger-than-life stories allows Will to gain a newfound sense of fondness and respect for the elder Bloom, learning the "how" and "why" behind his modes of operation and coming to understand his various triumphs and shortcomings in greater detail.
