Based on the video game by Remedy/3-D Realms. Max Payne is an embattled New York City detective haunted by his past, working desk duty ever since the unsolved murder of his wife and young child. When a series of shocking murders and deaths from a highly-addictive drug with hallucinatory properties making the rounds begin to pile up, our man must wrestle his demons by springing into action, acting on promising info from two reliable tipsters connected to his life to dispatch justice in America's largest city.
