Sci-fi thriller follows a reclusive cop's murder investigation in a world where isolated humans use robotic "surrogates" for all forms of public interaction.

ABSTRACT
Welcome to the future, a "utopian" sort of society where humanity's growing obsessions with seclusion and perfection ultimately culminated in the creation of sexy "surrogates", robots tasked with living our lives out by proxy. Idyllic in seemingly every way thanks to a lack of crime and social awkwardness, a series of disquieting murders of said androids comes along the break the once-unshakable peace, leading mortal FBI agent Greer to leave his home for the first time in years to investigate what quickly blossoms into a terrifying conspiracy.
