Drunken Master (5-Oct-1978)

Original Title: Jui kuen

Director: Woo-ping Yuen

Writers: Hsiao Lung; See-Yuen Ng; Woo-ping Yuen

Keywords: Action/Adventure, Martial Arts

Tired of exerting discipline over a rebellious juvenile delinquent, a father sends his son Wong Fei Hung to study the art of drunken boxing under the tutelage of his uncle So Hai. Solid martial arts film and one of Jackie Chan's early gems. Based on true characters, though this film redefines them; at the time, some Chinese theatergoers were offended by Chan's portrayal of Wong.
