A humanitarian aid worker attempts to rescue her kidnapped engineer husband from South American guerrilla insurgents.

ABSTRACT
Peter Bowman, an American engineer making his trade working on projects int he developing world alongside humanitarian wife Alice, is hired by hegemonic oil conglomerate QUAD Carbon to build a dam in the Andes. Concerns regarding QUAD Carbon's true intentions and the pair's troubled marriage take a sudden backseat to Peter's kidnapping by anti-government guerrilla insurgents opposed to multinational corporations, producing a political fiasco marked by high-running tension as Alice attempts to work with a company-appointed negotiator to rescue her husband.
