Film adaptation of the 1974 novel of the same name follows an espionage expert as he must uncover a Soviet mole inside of MI6.

ABSTRACT
George Smiley, an espionage specialist and protege of the then-director of British intelligence agency MI6, is forced into retirement in 1973 following a bungled operation in Hungary that blossoms into a full-blown international incident. Later on, however, Smiley is called back into service for his most challenging endeavor to date: Uncovering a possible Soviet agent operating inside MI6 who could compromise the integrity of his former employer if he is not identified and subsequently dealt with.
