Three men are affected and manipulated in various ways by an enigmatic beauty.

ABSTRACT
Femme fatale Jewel kills her boyfriend following what appears to be an attempted rape, seeking refuge at a St. Louis-area bar called McCool's staffed by a bartender named Randy. A series of flashbacks told from different points of view follow, depicting Jewel's effect on Randy, his cousin Carl, and police detective Dehling as it is ultimately revealed that she is using the various smitten men for her own benefit.
