An ex-smuggler heads back into the fray of the lifestyle he left behind to protect his brother-in-law from a vicious drug lord.

Remake of Reykjavik-Rotterdam (2008). Chris Farraday, an ex-smuggler living out a docile post-criminal existence with his wife and sons in New Orleans, receives word that his brother-in-law, Andy, dropped a shipment of drugs he'd been smuggling into the Mississippi River during a surprise inspection by the Border Patrol. After finding out that Andy's ruthless mob boss has threatened to kill him if he does not come up with $700,000, Chris decides to step back into the haunts of his old life, risking his existence by running contraband with a view to earning enough money to spare Andy.
