Tracy Lord, ex-wife of jazz musician C. K. Dexter Haven, prepares for a marriage with the rather uninteresting George Kitteredge. A pair of reporters from Spy magazine are sent to cover the wedding; one of them, Mike Connor, falls for Tracy as well. Including Dexter, three suitors!
