Alice nods off to sleep, falling into a rabbit hole where she must deal with a parade of unhelpful creatures, some of which will do her real harm. Disney animated version of the two madcap Lewis Carroll novels, but with substantial subtractions. Despite its shortcomings, a magnificent fantasy. Received an Oscar nomination for Best Musical Score.
