Ravenscroft did a large amount of work for Disney, credits there including Cinderella, Mary Poppins, and Lady and the Tramp; he also voiced certain key rides at Disneyland, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, and the Haunted Mansion. In the 1960s he teamed up with Chuck Jones and Dr. Seuss, singing "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch". Other Seuss projects he was involved with include Horton Hears a Who and The Cat in the Hat. Ravenscroft died in 2005 after suffering prostate cancer.
