Continuation of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs storyline follows Flint Lockwood as he learns of the present-day operations of his most infamous invention.

ABSTRACT
Sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009). Following the food storm-fueled events of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Flint Lockwood finds himself exiled from Swallow Falls. Invited to join the Live Corp Company as part of an endeavor to bring some of the world's brightest minds together to clean the mess brought about by his infamous food machine, Flint finds himself forced to rein his invention in once and for all when he discovers that it is still active, generating sentient pickles, and seemingly primed to threaten Earth's continued existence.
