ABSTRACT
Seattle is gripped by a series of vampire attacks perpetrated by Victoria and her desire to create an army of newborn vampires, forcing Edward to fear for his own safety. Along the way, Edward discusses the implications of impending immortality with Bella, who finds herself faced with a litany of life decisions to handle as she approaches her graduation from high school and associated transition into adulthood.
