Mars Attacks! (13-Dec-1996)

Director: Tim Burton

Writer: Jonathan Gems

Music by: Danny Elfman

Producers: Tim Burton; Larry Franco

Keywords: Sci-Fi/Comedy, Alien Invasion, Mars, Trading Cards, Spoof

Martians land on Earth, as earthlings debate their intentions. An early meeting results in slaughter after the release of a dove confuses the Martians, an error for which they apologize. But when their address before the Joint Houses of Congress results in the complete annihilation of that body, there is no doubt as to their purpose. Spoof of 1950s science fiction films; the A-list cast does not take itself seriously. Produced on a budget of $70M!
