An ex-convict reluctantly becomes a part of a casino heist after he assumes the identity of his dead cellmate.

Ex-convict Rudy Duncan, jailed for six years following a grand theft auto conviction, assumes cellmate Nick's identity after he dies during a prison riot to take advantage of his correspondence with a woman he'd never met. Rudy's attempts to get with the woman in question, named Ashley, inadvertently draw him into a risky plot to rob an Indian casino thanks to her ties to one of Nick's former associates, a plot he must now participate in against his better judgement if he values his life.
