I saw this movie and immediately pre-ordered the DVD. The acting in this movie was superb. Everyone was believable in their portrayals and I especially enjoyed the interaction between the character Nina and Jose. You don't know how long they have worked together. You know that Nina has worked at the restaurant for 4 years, but how long she has known Jose, I'm not certain. Their day together changes their lives and the family scenes are fantastic. All of the movie is seen through the memory of Jose and it is a movie that will bring tears of sorrow and of joy. Tammy Blanchard does a great job as Nina. I really liked Manny Perez's character. He was someone who had worked his way to a success and was very focused...forgetting some of his humanity, but in the end, he gets that, too. Facing hard facts about how he does business. The mother and father of the family, the brother, the mother of the child in the neighborhood. All very believable. Excellent film.
