According to their website, ALG works "with local groups, using the direct initiative process to make serious changes in public policy and put the people back in charge of state politics." Provides out-of-state funds for publicity and to obtain signatures for initiative petitions, when there is insufficient interest by the citizens of that state to otherwise place the initiative on the ballot. Issues of interest include eminent domain, spending caps, etc.
