AKA Robert Troy Kimball
Birthplace: Vinton, LA
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Lead singer, Toto
Lead singer on the first four Toto albums. Asked to leave group for drug problems, replaced by Dennis Fredericksen. Kimball has also performed with Fee Waybill, Richard Marx, and is credited on a host of other albums.
Kimball, on leaving the band: "I was kicked out for something everyone does. But I can imagine why they did it, I was out of control. I freaked out and took the wrong decisions. It's impossible to perform on this level with a drug-addiction. At the other hand it wasn't a smart move to fire me. I think it was they moment they killed the band. Toto was a powerful generator, which crashed after that."
Toto Vocalist (1977-84, 1989, and 1999-)
