Lady GagaAKA Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta

Born: 28-Mar-1986
Birthplace: Yonkers, NY

Gender: Female
Religion: Roman Catholic
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Bisexual [1]
Occupation: Singer

Nationality: United States
Executive summary: The Fame

Born in Yonkers into an Italian family and educated at Convent of the Sacred Heart and the Tisch School, Lady Gaga is a female (Internet rumors aside) glam rocker whose attire often borders on drag queen chic. Her name comes from the Queen song Radio GaGa, chosen for her by producer Rob Fusari. Her first album, The Fame, charted two singles on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2008 and early 2009, one of which received a Grammy nomination for best dance recording. In her public appearances, Lady Gaga aims for the outrageous. She has been known to dress in plastic bubbles, wear what appears to be a bird's nest around her head, and cavort about in naughty gossamer fabric thin enough to expose her aureoles. At the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Gaga gave a blood-spattered live performance of Paparazzi, which would have captured the headlines had Kanye West not usurped the microphone from Taylor Swift at the same ceremony.
