University of Bridgeport

EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Founded 1927 as the Junior College of Connecticut. Owned by the Unification Church since 1992. Once had enrollment of over 9000 students, now much diminished. Already in financial difficulties, the university was sold to the Moonies' "Professors World Peace Academy" in exchange for $68M in "forgivable loans", after which much of what remained of the faculty left.
