ABSTRACT
Raimunda, born and raised in the tiny town of Alfancor de las Infantas, Spain, lives in Madrid in the present day, struggling through life as a janitor with drunkard husband Paco and daughter Paula. Her mother, Irene, died in a house fire with her father years back; when aunt Paula's neighbor Augustina reports that Irene has reappeared in spirit form, things take a mystical turn, especially when an unexpected family tragedy makes evident her desire to fix the things she could not successfully change in her physical form.
