Standing as the fifth entry in the Home Alone franchise and the third produced without the involvement of Macaulay Culkin, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist centers on the curious case of ten-year old Finn Baxter and older sister Alexis, two technology-obsessed children who must put their wits to the test in an unlikely way against a group of burglars when a snowstorm leaves their parents stranded at a Christmas party away from their upscale Maine manor.
