Adapted from a time-worn Marvel Comics franchise, Hulk explores the origin fable behind its esteemed titular character, following Bruce Banner -- a gifted scientist haunted and hampered by his own personal demons at seemingly every turn -- as his research experiments at the University of California-Berkeley expose him to calamitous amounts of gamma radiation, hastening his transformation into a green monster powered by rage and subsequent fugitive on the run from the American government.
