Adapted from a mosaic of New Testament Gospels and other devotional writings, The Passion of the Christ provides viewers with director Mel Gibson's depiction of Jesus Christ's last hours of life leading up to his crucifixion, following the icon of Christianity and self-proclaimed "Son of God" through from his arrest in Jerusalem to his death at the hands of Roman soldiers.
