A meteorite crashes to Earth in a rural town, launching a vicious plague turning locals into a number of different monsters.

ABSTRACT
A quaint community -- the fictional Wheelsy, South Carolina -- is turned into a hellscape when a meteorite infected with an extraterrestrial plague crashes to Earth and is discovered by local resident Grant. Grant's subsequent strange behavior coupled with a number of other bizarre occurrences in the town prompt sheriff Bill Pardy to launch an investigation alongside Grant's wife Starla, leading the pair to uncover the presence of a malignant organism intent on decimating the planet.
