Future President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his wife Eleanor cope with his incurable polio at his family's summer home on Campobello Island in New Brunswick. Spans the years 1921 to 1924. Ralph Bellamy reprises his stage role; he and Garson are both quite convincing. A little bit too long. Received Oscar nominations for Best Actress, Best Set Decoration, Best Costume Design, and Best Sound.
