Birthplace: San Diego, CA

Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Model, Actor

Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Bachelor Party

Gorgeous model and actress Tawny Kitaen (pronounced Kit-ayne) is probably best known for playing Tom Hanks' suspicious fiancÚ in the 1984 comedy Bachelor Party. She was never lovelier than in the title role of The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak, a cheerfully erotic French adventure in which she sought an elusive butterfly.

In the mid 1980s she played Meredith on the daytime soap opera Capitol with Teri Hatcher, and by the late '80s she was a sultry, big-haired presence in Whitesnake videos, while she was dating and eventually married to the band's lead singer David Coverdale. In a 1991 episode of Seinfeld, Jerry's brain and penis debated whether he should continue dating a foxy but empty-headed character played by Kitaen. In 1992 she replaced soap opera star Arleen Sorkin as co-host of America's Funniest People with Dave Coulier. She played Mona Loveland, the sexy late-night disk jockey on the early 1990s revival of WKRP in Cincinnati with Gordon Jump, and in the late-1990s she played Deianeira, Herc's murdered wife, in occasional flashbacks or surreal visits to the mythical Elysian Fields in tthe syndicated Hercules: The Legendary Journeys with Kevin Sorbo.

In 2002, Kitaen was charged with spousal abuse of her then-husband, big league baseball pitcher Chuck Finley. Charges were dismissed in exchange for Kitaen's promise to undergo anger management and conflict resolution counseling. Finley filed for divorce three days after the alleged beating. In 2004 she appeared on the washed-up celebrity show Surreal Life, yelling at Florence Henderson and, in the final episode, jumping in the pool naked. In 2006, police said they found 15 grams of cocaine in her apartment after she gave them permission to search the premises. All charges were dropped, when she agreed to undergo a rehabilitation program.
