A New Mexico everyman becomes the unlikely focus of global media attention when the United States' Presidential election comes down to his vote.

ABSTRACT
It's Presidential election time in America, with incumbent Republican Andrew Carington Boone facing a tough challenge from Democratic Vermont senator Donald Greenleaf. Texico, New Mexico resident and single father Bud Johnson couldn't care less, untroubled by the parties' overtures as he ambles through a largely apolitical personal life; when he is prodded by civic-minded twelve-year old daughter Molly to hit the polls on Election Day, however, he kicks off a bizarre series of events that sees the candidates and eyes of the global media descending upon his house as the hotly-contested election ends up quite literally coming down to his vote.
